"Once upon a time, as they say in fairy tales, in a distant, mountainous village there lived a little girl, Melina, who loved nature, flowers and animals with all her heart. Her fellow villagers also loved her very much and admired her, as, instead of talking, she sung whatever she wanted to say with her beautiful voice. But what will happen when a nightingale very different from the others arrives in the village? How will the village welcome his strange carol? Is the newly arrived nightingale's voice really that bad? And what solution will our good-hearted friend, Melina, find with the help of the wise owl?

The text is signed by Stefanos Dorbarakis, musician, teacher and writer, while the illustrations are by Eva Karantinou.
